The Maltese-Canadian Professional and Business Association (MCPBA) was recently established in Toronto, Canada. The primary objectives of the Association, as laid down in its Constitution are: Promoting, establishing and developing closer and stronger professional, economic and business relations between Malta and Canada. Creating and sustaining a forum for the generation and interchange of ideas and proposals for promoting professional and business activities between members of the Association and between members and their counterparts in the larger Canadian communities for their mutual benefit. The increasing MCPBA membership currently comprises over seventy members from a wide spectrum of professions and businesses. Included in its membership are Medical Doctors, Lawyers, Architects, Accountants, Bankers and a wide cross-section of entrepreneurs covering a wide range of business activities. In keeping with its objectives, the MCPBA would like to hear from Professional and Business people in Malta who are interested in developing contacts with their Canadian counterparts for the exchange of expertise or initiating business ventures.
